The Fox in Socks
The Fox in Socks is inspired by Leicester’s diverse cultural mix, its history in the hosiery industry and its beautiful rural setting, featuring some of the most ‘Lesta’ of Leicester locations. The coloured houses represent the differences and similarities of the people of Leicester. This Fox is dedicated to the wonderful Rainbows Hospice for Children.

About the artist/organisation
Stewart has exhibited and sold artwork in regional galleries including Sock in Loughborough and Leicester’s New Walk Gallery. He’s taken part in the Loogabarooga Children’s Illustration Festival and created large picture book designs for Rainbows Hospice for Children. Stewart’s design for a community bench will be made and installed in Barrow upon Soar during 2021. You can view more work or commission a home portrait on his website.
